Legacy Quoting Tool · last updated 12 September 2026
The Legacy Quoting Tool is a private working tool used by a licensed health-insurance broker and the agents on that broker's team. It is not a consumer product and it is not open to the public. This policy explains what the tool does with information, and in particular what it does with your Google account if you choose to connect one.
The short version
- The quote, its summary and the client record stay on the computer unless the agent deliberately sends a summary to the broker's own customer-record system. A condition, doctor, facility or address search sends only the details needed for that lookup to the services named below. Medication search stays on the computer, and client details are never sent to an outside artificial-intelligence service.
- Google Calendar access is optional, is used only to show and create your own appointments inside the tool, and can be withdrawn by you at any time.
- Nothing is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. There is no advertising in this tool.
Who is responsible
The tool is operated by Billy Ballut, a licensed health-insurance broker. Questions about this policy, or a request to delete information, can be sent to billy.insurancesolutions@gmail.com.
What the tool holds
- Quote details you type. Ages, state, prescriptions, conditions and similar notes entered while preparing a quote. The quote stays in the browser unless you deliberately send a summary to the broker's own customer-record system. When you use a lookup, condition search terms and doctor or facility names (with the client's state) are sent to the US National Library of Medicine, while address text is sent to Google Places and Photon. Medication search stays on your computer.
- Your account. Your name, your work email address, the states you are licensed in, and a record of when you signed in. This is what lets the broker grant or withdraw your access.
- Usage counts. Which features were opened and how often, so the broker can tell what is being used. This does not include the content of any quote.
Google account information
Connecting a Google account is entirely optional. The tool works fully without it. If you do connect one, it asks Google for two things only:
- See your calendars (
calendar.readonly) — so your day can be shown beside your quotes. - Create and change calendar events (
calendar.events) — so an appointment agreed on a call can be written straight into your own calendar.
What this means in practice:
- The tool reads only the calendar of the account you connect. It never reads anyone else's calendar.
- Calendar information is shown on your screen and is not copied to any server operated by this tool.
- Your Google sign-in token is held by Google's own Chrome extension identity service on your computer. The broker never sees it, and neither does anyone else.
- No Google account information is used for advertising, sold, or transferred to anybody, except where the law requires it.
Legacy Quoting Tool's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Withdrawing Google access
You can disconnect at any time, and you do not need to ask anyone. Open your Google account permissions, find Legacy Quoting Tool, and remove it. The tool can then read nothing further from your calendar and can write nothing to it.
Health information
Preparing a quote sometimes means typing sensitive details — a condition, a prescription, a doctor's name. Those details are handled under one firm rule: they are never sent to an outside artificial-intelligence service. The assistant inside the tool that reads them runs locally, on the same computer. Outside artificial-intelligence services may answer general questions only when they carry no client detail.
Who else sees anything
There are no advertisers, data brokers or analytics companies receiving quote content. The tool uses Cloudflare to serve its pages and hold accounts and access records; Google to provide calendar access if you connect it; the US National Library of Medicine for condition, doctor and facility lookups; and Google Places and Photon for address lookup. These services receive only the information needed for the feature the agent chooses to use. Google Analytics receives usage counts and an agent identifier, never quote content, and remains off unless the broker enables it.
How long things are kept
Account records are kept while you have access and are removed when the broker withdraws it. The quote and its summary stay on your own computer until you clear them or deliberately send a summary to the broker's own customer-record system. Calendar information is not retained at all — it is read for display and discarded.
Children
The tool is for licensed agents at work. It is not directed at children and no account is issued to anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anyone with an account is told before the change takes effect.
